Meet Ana from Grace Based Living
Finding Grace in our everyday life in marriage; motherhood, family life and simple living.
Hello, I’m Ana!
Welcome to Grace based living, a place where I lovingly share about Gods Grace through our daily life, marriage, parenthood, natural living as we seek to live a simple life. My husband, Lee and I moved to the east coast September of 2020. Lee knew God was calling him back to North Carolina and a change of scenery didn’t sound bad. I’m a desert girl at heart. We have been married for 3 years and will be having our 2nd baby in October of 2021. Our first baby is a honeymoon baby born on the 4th of July and she is our little firecracker. We dream of living a simple life, and yearn to have our own homestead in the future. For now are taking it one day at a time and focusing on paying off our remaining debt.
About Me
I’ve lived in Phoenix Arizona my whole life and have recently really fallen in love with the idea of raising our family out in the country.
I am 1 of 3 children and the only girl in my family. Being the most out spoken got me in a lot of trouble growing up. I guess it comes with being the middle chid.
I enjoy cooking very much and bringing my parents recipes to life. We have a lot of Mexican food in our household, my husband doesn’t complain.
I love home remedies. There is a satisfying sense of relief to making your own medicine, or concoctions that actually work and bring healing to your family.
A few of my favorite things:
I enjoy the sound of the rain and really miss the smell of desert rain. If you are from the desert you know what smell I am talking about.
I am an INFJ- from the Meyers brig personality test, and my husband is an INTJ.
I love coffee, and I don’t mean the fancy type of coffee. The plain black smooth coffee that hits just right in the morning.
I absolutely cherish being a stay at home mom, and I am very grateful that my husbands job provides enough for me to be able to.
I have a dog named Charlie that my sweet daughter adores and my husband has gown quite fond of. He belonged to me, and I hope he lives a long life. Our tiny overprotective long hair chiuaua terrier.
Being barefoot is probably my favorite thing which may or may not be a reason why I like NC and do not miss the AZ summers.
I live for deep conversations and even deeper friendships!
